I forgot to mention the other day squirtimus and myself went to the childcare I want to put her in. We met the director who was super friendly and I got a tour around the place. From the outside you wouldn’t know it was a childcare but once you stepped in it became child heaven. It was so massive and when we went outside I actually said “wow”. There was a section for the babies...

It is really hard to continuously go out of your way to try to help someone who complains about the things they need help with and then refuses to do anything about them. I feel like I’m just bashing my head against a wall.

I just got asked to be part of the May Issue of my university magazine which will have a special feature on Mothers Day. I’m going to be interviewed about what’s it like to be a “young mum” (in which I shall express my dislike for the term), what it’s like to have a baby and study, why I’m studying, how I manage my time etc. I’m really excited for it!...

I love the way Scarlet rolls over in her sleep, grabs her dummy, turns it the right away and shoves it in her mouth. All with her eyes closed, all fast asleep. To me, it’s like watching a scientist or seeing a small miracle happen. I’m so amazed and impressed everytime she does it.
I love her so much.
